5-CL-ADB-A is a synthetic cannabinoid that belongs to the indazole carboxamide family. It is also known as 5-CL-ADB, 5-CL-ADB-α, or N-(1-amino-3,3-dimethyl-1-oxobutan-2-yl)-1-(cyclohexylmethyl)-1H-indazole-3-carboxamide. This compound acts as a potent agonist of the CB1 receptor, which is the same receptor that delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the main psychoactive component of cannabis, binds to in the brain.
